PAYMENT & REGISTRATION POLICIES
Payment Methods: Visa, Discover, or Mastercard can be accepted for card payments.
Required Card on File: All families will be required to put a card on file for first payment. Payment MUST be received in FULL before students can begin or resume sessions.
Payment Due: Full payment for session(s) must be submitted upon registration. Membership auto-renewal covers sessions within a 30 day cycle from day of registration. If you need to change the billing date contact us immediately. Your selected payment method will be charged automatically on a recurring basis within every 30 day cycle from day of registration. (there will be no pro rating for any missed classes past registration date, including future dates). All pricing is listed and charged in US Dollars .
Registration fees are non-creditable, and cannot all, or in part, be used for future sessions regardless of closings, class offerings, or schedules.
A “ cycle” consists of the 30 days starting from registration date which will be your auto-billing date. Any requests to downgrade, pause, or cancel membership will not take effect until your next billing date.
Declined Payments: If a card payment is declined, there will be a $25.00 processing fee added to your balance. Please make sure your card on file is up to date!! Two attempts to collect payment will be made. In the event they are unsuccessful the student(s) will be unable to attend sessions until the amount is paid in full (including fees).
Outstanding Balances: Any student who has unpaid fees will not be able to enroll in future sessions, (or attend classes) until paid.
Membership & Sessions are Per Student. Siblings do not share sessions or membership. Please use each student name(s), email and contact number when booking sessions.
Late Payments: If a payment is not received by the due date (before student(s) first class), the card on file will be charged, with an additional $10.00 late fee added. Any late payments will be subject to a $10.00 fee per week late. If fee is unpaid by the third week of class, student(s) will be withheld from the class(es) and unable to attend until the amount is paid in full (including late fees).
Refund Policy: For Group Memberships: If within 48 hours from the time of registration you “ change your mind” You may receive a refund less a $75.00 processing fee. (this includes workshops, camps, etc.) Under extreme circumstances (such as unforeseen closures without possibility of make-ups), if any refund is issued, the payment of the remaining sessions (based on membership level) will be returned.
There are No refunds for Private Coaching Packages.
Any refunds, credits, or make-ups issued will be at the discretion of the director.
Late Registrations & Pro-Rating: Registration can occur at any time during the year (other than the last two weeks), as long as there are open spots in your desired sessions. We do not prorate future missed dates. You will be charged for sessions from the date of registration (there will be no pro-rating for any missed sessions, past registration date, holidays, unlimited memberships, including future dates).
Unused, Missed or Cancelled Sessions do not carry over each month.
Trial Sessions: Our trial session is a non-obligation trial. You may try one session. A no-cost registration form in advance is required to attend a trial session. Should you not want to continue after trial, no payment is owed. If you want to further enroll in the program, payment for membership will be due .
Special Promotions: We may occasionally offer promotions with terms outside our standard monthly membership subscription. The specific terms of each promotion are stated at the time the promotion is offered. At the end of the promotion, your subscription will automatically renew at the rates displayed at the time of purchase.
MEMBERSHIP PAUSE & CANCELLATIONS:
Membership “Pause” : You may pause your account for a 30-90 Day Period. PAUSING is a convenient way to pick up where your child left off. Pausing also allow you to lock in your current membership rate when you return. When pausing a membership the following form MUST be completed PAUSE MEMBERSHIP NOTICE. All future charges associated with the 30 day billing cycle of your membership will be paused. Your pause for charges will become effective at the end of your current billing cycle. You will not receive a refund; however your membership access and/or delivery and accompanying member benefits will continue for the remainder of the current billing cycle. If we do not receive a completed “pause notice”, auto billing will continue.
Cancelling Membership BEFORE 3 Month: If you decide to cancel your PSFT membership prior to the completion of the three months of service (the “Minimum Term”), Public Speaking for Teens will charge an early cancelation fee of $150 (the "Early Cancelation Fee").
Cancelling Membership AFTER 3 Month: Complete CANCEL NOTICE to cancel membership. When cancelling a membership,a 30 day advance notice before next billing is required. If we do not receive a completed cancellation notice, auto billing will continue. Your cancellation will become effective at the end of your current billing cycle. You will not receive a refund; however your membership access and/or delivery and accompanying member benefits will continue for the remainder of the current billing cycle. We are under no obligation to issue the same or similar discounts in the future.
30 Day PAUSE or CANCEL Notification Form Required: Completed Notification forms received less than 30 days before next billing will incur a $100 late notification fee.
SCHEDULING & SESSION POLICIES:
Full Session Commitment: By enrolling for a membership, you are committed to the session(s) for the entire registered membership and all payments are due for that membership from registration date. There is a 3 month minimum commitment for all memberships.
We are an international program and we do our best to operate our available session schedule around school breaks, closures and holidays. Please view our program schedule regularly for updates. We do not provide prorate, refunds or credit for these events.
BOOKING SESSIONS: It is the parent/guardian’s or students responsibility to schedule, reschedule, make up or cancel sessions through the PSFT Session Scheduler
Missed Sessions: If you know your child will be absent ahead of time, please contact us and let us know via email: yourvoiceteen@gmail.com 24-hour notice required. Cancellation notification received within the required time, a reschedule session can be booked within the same week or at the next available time within the next 2 weeks of the current billing cycle based on schedule availability. ( Does not apply to unlimited membership)
Late Policy: If a student is late no additional time will be added to the session. 100% of the session will be counted. If a student is more than 15 minutes late to a group without notification, admission into the group will be denied.
Late Arrival Policy for Private Coaching: 15 MINUTE GRACE PERIOD. After 15 min with no notification session will close. 100% of the session will be counted. No refund.
No Show Policy: 15 min grace period. If a student misses a session without notification, 100% of the lesson will be counted. Cancellations within the required time, session credit will be applied to the student's account. A makeup session can be scheduled within the same week or at the next available time based on schedule availability.
Unused, Make-up, Missed or Cancelled sessions: do not carry over to the next billing cycle.
Make-Up Policy: Make-ups must be scheduled ahead of time by emailing yourvoiceteen@gmail.com. Make-ups will be done by attending the session of their group/level during another day and/or time, based on available openings, within the cycle of enrollment. If you do not attend and/or cancel a previously scheduled make-up at least 24 hours before, you forfeit that make up session. Make-Ups are not carried over to the next billing cycle, no refunds or credits will be given for any missed sessions.
Force Majeure: If sessions are cancelled due to weather or unforeseen circumstances, an additional make-up opportunity will be given, whether scheduled individually, or an additional day is added to the calendar.
All sessions are first come, first served. A student’s spot will not be saved unless we have received a completed registration form, and a payment.
Full sessions & Waitlist: If you are interested in a session that is currently full, you may add your student to the waitlist. Should any spaces open at a later date, we will contact you.
Session Minimum & Low Enrollments: A minimum of three students must be enrolled in each session, or the session may be cancelled or combined with another. If the session is cancelled, your student will have to move to another day and/or time. You will be contacted if this should occur. PSFT reserves the right to cancel or combine classes due to low enrollment.
WEATHER CONCERNS & CANCELLATIONS
If there is inclement weather or other closings, you can find out about session cancellations by:
1. Checking our Website( publicspeakingforteens.com) and Social Media: Facebook - (facebook.com/publicspeakingforteens) or Instagram( @publicspeakingforteens)
2. Checking your email we have on file for cancellations. Please add yourvoiceteen@gmail.com to your address book (check your spam folder as well, just in case!).
All Weekday session cancellations will be announced by 3:00pm and all Saturday session cancellations will be announced by 8:30am (the latest - they may be announced earlier). If there are no notifications after these times, classes are still on!
Any cancellations due to weather or program issues will result in an added make-up (either group or individually scheduled).
