How to write an essay that distinguishes you from the pack.

Online Group size is limited to 6 students*

Focus: College Essay Prep -This program is specifically for rising 11th & 12th grade students preparing to write college application essays. During each focused session, our coaches  will help guide each student's reflection, self-awareness, and realizations as they approach each essay. Students will  spend time brainstorming topics that focus less on personal qualities (like adjectives), and more on the anecdotes, objects, symbols, and moments that showcase a quality or qualities that distinguish them from others. We will explore the balance between self-expression and effective communication essential to writing the powerful personal narratives that are at the core of successful college admissions essays.

College Essay—to realize something about yourself that you never took the time to do until now. . 

Our College Essay Prep program will help students:

  • Prepare for College Writing

  • Build  Writing Confidence

  • Fine tune grammar and structure writing

  • Draft, workshop, and revise their own original personal essays

  • Develop Creative writing and storytelling skills

  • Dive deeper in brainstorming and preparation

  • Practice strategies for self understanding

  • Translate that self-understanding into compelling admissions essays.

Upon successful completion of the program, writers will receive a digital Certificate of Achievement

All sessions are recorded for reinforcement and feedback

*Enrollment Minima and Limits: All group classes have enrollment minimum and limits as listed in program descriptions. Public Speaking for Teens (PSFT) reserves the right to cancel, combine or reschedule sessions in the event the minimum number of (3) three students for the session is not met.
